Never miss a follow-up: overdue, due today and the daily summary
· 1 min read
Most deals are lost to silence, not to a competitor. Here is how CRM Dost keeps every next step in view.
Leads rarely say no. They just stop hearing from you. The fix is not working harder — it is making sure every lead has a next step and that nobody can lose sight of it.
Give every lead a next action date
Each lead has a next action date: when someone should call, visit or message next. Set it every time you touch a lead, and your follow-ups organise themselves.
Overdue, due today, upcoming
- Leads can be viewed in three groups: overdue, due today and upcoming.
- The menu shows how many of your leads are overdue, so a backlog is never hidden.
- A today’s follow-ups filter shows exactly what needs doing now.
- “Today” follows your company’s own time zone, wherever your team is.
A summary twice a day
Each morning and evening — 9:00 and 21:00 in your company’s time zone by default — CRM Dost sends a summary of leads that are overdue, due today and due tomorrow. The owner can change the times, or turn it off.
Hand work over cleanly
When someone is away or overloaded, reassign their leads in bulk. The new owner is told in the app, by push notification and by email, and the lead’s history travels with it, so the next call picks up where the last one ended.
Make “no lead without a next action date” a team rule. The overdue count then becomes an honest measure of how the pipeline is being worked.
