Build and save an audience
Last reviewed
Turn a lead filter into a named audience you can send to any time, and why the recipients are worked out at the moment you send.
An audience is a saved lead filter with a name. Instead of exporting a list and pasting addresses, you describe which leads should receive an email, and CRM Dost finds them when you send. Audiences live under AI Email → Audiences.
- Open Audiences and press New audience.
- Add filters: status, source, owner, priority, created and follow-up dates, location, property type, campaign, deal type and more. The count of matching leads updates live as you add or remove a condition, so you can see whether "Interested leads from the website this quarter" is 40 people or 4,000.
- Name the audience and save it. It appears in Compose as a recipient choice.
Resolved at send time
An audience stores the filter, not the list of leads. Every send goes to the leads that match at that moment: a lead that became Interested yesterday is included next time without anyone editing the audience, and a lead moved to Closed Won drops out of a "still deciding" audience on its own. A lead needs an email address to receive the campaign.
- Anyone who has unsubscribed is skipped automatically, whichever audience they match.
- The batch on the Sent tab records who actually received each send, so the list at the time is never lost even though the audience keeps moving.
- The deliverability check compares the audience size with your mailbox's daily limit before you send.
Narrow audiences do better than broad ones: a follow-up written for people who visited a property last month reads as a message, not a mailshot, and fewer recipients mark it as spam.
