Built-in roles, custom roles, and what a permission key controls.
A role is a named set of permissions. CRM Dost ships with roles such as Owner, Admin, Lead Manager, Sales Executive and HR, and Team → Roles lets you create your own or change what a built-in one may do.
- Permissions are grouped by area — leads, attendance, team, properties, settings — and each key names one action, such as Export leads, Manage lead statuses, or View Deal Value.
- The Owner holds every permission and cannot be locked out.
- Permissions are enforced by the server, not just hidden in the app: an action a role lacks is refused even from an API client.
- Some permissions come in pairs, like View Deal Value and Edit Deal Value, so a role can see amounts without changing them.
